Saudi Arabia’s housing ministry currently has 15 projects in Riyadh under its Sakani program, providing 26,300 residential units, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
While three are ready for purchase, 12 out of these projects are still under-construction.
The projects, built in partnership with qualified private sector real estate developers, offer apartments, villas and town houses worth from SAR 250,000 to SAR 750,000.
One of Sakani’s largest projects is East Gate, which offers 5,968 villas starting from SAR 645,750.
Other projects include, Murcia Residence (5,590 apartments and town houses), Suhail Al Riyadh (4,376 units), Ishraq Living (2,229 town houses and villas), Rabeyet Alsharq (960 flats and villas), and Deyar Saad (577 town houses).
Sakani program also provides ready-made units built in partnership with the private sector in projects such as Parisiana Riyadh and Al-Sultan.
