Saudi Electricity Co. said that its “Bena” program strategy includes three initiatives to boost domestic industry.
The first initiative focuses on developing policies and mechanisms to support and motivate local manufacturers and contractors. The second initiative deals with the development of policies and mechanisms to support and stimulate small and medium enterprises (SMEs) while the third will work on identifying investment opportunities for industry and services, the company said in a statement today.
“Bena” program was launched by Saudi Electricity to build and employ national capabilities, based on its interest in maximizing local content and motivating national companies in the field of electricity to contribute to realizing the Saudi vision 2030.
The company seeks to rely on the development of policies and mechanisms to support and motivate local contractors.
