Saudi Arabia’s housing ministry currently has 12 projects in Makkah under its Sakani program, providing 52,610 residential units, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
While two are ready for purchase, 10 out of these projects are still under-construction.
The projects, built in partnership with qualified private sector real estate developers, offer apartments, villas and town houses worth from SAR 250,000 to SAR 750,000.
One of Sakani’s largest projects is Rawabi Al-Hijaz in North Eastern Jeddah, which offers 21,302 apartments starting from SAR 477,900.
The projects, which span across the Makkah region, include Ruba Jeddah (1,375 apartments), Telal Algoroob (6,512 apartments), Jawharaht Rusayfah (1,035 apartments), Madinat Alwouroud in Taif (4,775 villas) and Deyar Rabigh (350 villas and town houses).
