Saudi Arabia is planning to export three billion cubic feet per day of gas before 2030, from conventional and non-conventional resources, Reuters reported, citing Saudi Aramco’s CEO Amin Nasser.
Future gas export options would include pipelined gas and liquefied natural gas (LNG) and that Aramco solely would develop the Kingdom’s gas assets, he said.
Nasser told a conference in Dubai in November last year that Aramco was planning to invest $150 billion over the next ten years to increase natural gas production to 23 billion cubic feet per day.
Saudi Aramco's natural gas reserves stood at 319.5 Trillion cubic feet (Tcf) as of the end of 2017, according to an independent audit, up from a previously reported 302.3 Tcf.
