Saudi Arabia’s stock market capitalization decreased by 0.73 percent to SAR 2.01 trillion in February 2019, according to monthly data released by the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul).
Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed at 8,492.70 points, down by 67.25 points, or 0.79 percent month-on-month (MoM) in February 2019. The index hit a record high of 8,633.33 points on Feb. 2.
The total value of shares traded declined 31.09 percent to SAR 47.0 billion last month.
The total number of shares traded reached 2.04 billion shares during February, down by 29.53 percent compared to January 2019.
The total number of transactions dropped 27.05 percent MoM to 1.80 million during February.
