Advanced Petrochemical Co. on Mar. 4 resumed operations at its propylene plant, after completing the essential assessment for critical reliability improvements, the company said in a bourse filing on Tuesday.
“The financial impact of the shutdown, depending on the expected prices of polypropylene and feedstock, will be reflected in the financial results of the first quarter of 2019,” the statement added.
Last month, the petrochemical producer said it would shut down its propylene plant for a maximum of ten days starting from Feb. 22, 2019 to perform essential assessment for critical reliability improvements, Argaam reported.
