Yansab names Mohammed Bazaid as new CEO

Yanbu National Petrochemical Co. (Yansab) board of directors has appointed Mohammed Ali Bazaid as its new chief executive officer, effective Apr. 14, 2019, the company said in a bourse statement on Thursday.

 

The new appointment came as former CEO Sameeh Al Sahafi may be named the head of another unit of Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC).    

 

Bazaid earned a B.S. of mechanical engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals.

 

He served as the head of SABIC’s affiliate, Arabian Industrial Fibers Co (Ibn Rushd), the statement added.
