Saudi Arabia’s Qiddiya project will help provide 50,000 jobs upon its launch in 2030, Al-Eqtisadiah reported, citing Michael Reininger, CEO of Qiddiya Investment Company.
The first phase of the project will be launched in 2022, he said.
The mega project will contribute to diversifying the Kingdom’s income and introducing new entertainment and tourism products to the market, Reininger said.
Qiddiya also offers various investment opportunities in the contracting and sports medicine sectors, he said, adding that the project aims to regain SAR 10 billion that Saudi tourists spend abroad.
According to data compiled by Argaam, King Salman launched in April 2018 Qiddiya entertainment project.
