Sipchem names new acting CEO

Saudi International Petrochemical Co. (Sipchem) has appointed Abdullah Saif Al-Saadoon as acting chief executive officer (CEO), effective immediately on March 24, the company said in a bourse statement on Sunday.

 

Al-Saadoon replaced Ahmad Al-Ohali, who was named as the new Governor of the General Authority for Military Industries with the rank of minister under a royal decree.

 

Al-Saadoon joined Sipchem in 2001. He took over the position of operations and manufacturing head. Al-Saadoon also oversaw the company's transformation in several sectors including IT, Human Resources and Supply Chain.
