10 things to watch on Tadawul today

Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Monday.

 

1) Halwani Bros Co. reported a net profit after zakat and tax of SAR 43.3 million for fiscal year 2018, a 39.3 percent drop year-on-year (YoY).

 

2) Al-Babtain Power and Telecommunication Co.’s board of directors has recommended a 5 percent cash dividend for the fourth quarter of 2018, at SAR 0.50 per share, amounting to SAR 21.3 million.

 

3) Shareholders of United International Transportation Co. Ltd. (Budget Saudi) will vote on April 18 on the board of directors’ recommendation to pay a 15 percent cash dividend, or SAR 1.5 per share, for fiscal year 2018.

 

4) Al Alamiya for Cooperative Insurance Co. has inked an insurance agreement with Tawkelat Financing Co. to provide an auto insurance coverage.

 

5) National Medical Care Co. (Care) reported a net profit after zakat and tax of SAR 62.2 million for fiscal year 2018, a 27.09 percent year-on-year (YoY) drop, due to a 10.7 percent decline in revenue, in addition to lower patient traffic.

 

6) Eastern Province Cement Co.’s shareholders will vote April 30 on a 7.5 percent cash dividend for the fiscal year of 2018, at SAR 0.75 per share, amounting to SAR 64.5 million.

 

7) Al Tayyar Travel Group's shareholders are set to vote on a 43 percent capital hike to SAR 3 billion from SAR 2.096 million through bonus shares during the extraordinary general assembly meeting that will be held on April 14, 2019.

 

8) Halwani Bros Co.’s board of directors has recommended a 10 percent capital hike to SAR 314.29 million from SAR 285.71 million through the issue of bonus shares.

 

9) National Medical Care Co.’s (Care) board of directors has recommended a 10 percent cash dividend for the fiscal year 2018, at SAR 1 per share, amounting to SAR 44.85 million.

 

10) Brent crude on Monday dropped 38 cents to reach $66.65/bbl, while WTI crude declined 46 cents to $58.58/bbl.
