Saudi Arabia ranks 13 in UN's Global Cybersecurity Index

Saudi Arabia has been ranked 13th at the global level and first at the Arab level among 175 states in the Global Cybersecurity Index (GCI) issued by the United Nations International Telecommunication Union (ITU) for 2018.

 

The National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) affirmed that it seeks to enhance protection of the Kingdom's cyberspace in collaboration with the relevant bodies, adding that it has launched a number of important initiatives and projects contributing to enhance the cybersecurity, Saudi Press Agency reported.

 

The NCA wants to a secure and reliable Saudi cyberspace through a higher level of cybersecurity in all national organizations, it added.
