A banking license to operate in Saudi Arabia was issued this week to Credit Suisse, the kingdom’s finance minister, Mohammed al-Jadaan, announced today at the Financial Sector Conference in Riyadh.
“New financial instruments will be unveiled during the conference,” the minister added.
The Swiss bank has allocated $600 million to obtain a full banking license in the Kingdom in a bid to expand operations.
