The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) has signed with Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange and Bahrain Bourse to launch dual listing, Khalid Al Hussan CEO of Tadawul told Al Arabiya channel.
Details on the procedures of the dual listing will be revealed within two weeks, he said, adding that more than one Gulf firms will be listed on Tadawul in the second half of this year.
Tadawul is in serious talks with three Gulf companies, he added.
The Saudi market is ready for the next stage of joining FTSE Russel, as entering a new index is followed by a boost in trading on specific stocks, he said.
On the sidelines of the Financial Sector Conference, Tadawul has signed agreements with the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monsha’at) and the General Authority for Zakat and Tax (GAZT) to promote market investments as part of their private sector stimuli, Al Hussan added.
