Wataniya elects board members, approves audit, board reports

Wataniya Insurance Co.’s shareholders have elected board members for the three-year term that started on April 26, 2019, the company said in a bourse statement.

The new board includes Hussein Bin Saeed Akeil, Faisal Mohammed Charara, Bernd Aloys Kohn, Amin Mousa Al-Afifi, Soren Kring Nikolajsen, Hussam Abdulrahman Al-Khayal, Nidal Radwan, Haytham Farouq Akhdar, Raed Salman Sater and Rakan Amer Al Hoshan.

Shareholders have approved audited financial statements and audit report for the fiscal year 2018.

They have also approved the board report for the same period and discharging board members from liabilities during FY 2018.

Meanwhile, they have approved all other items on the meeting’s agenda including related party transactions.
