US drillers add 2 oil rigs in week ending May 3: Baker Hughes

U.S. energy companies added two oil rigs in the week ending May 3, bringing the total count to 807, General Electric Co.’s Baker Hughes energy services firm said in its closely followed report on Friday.

 

The natural gas rig count decreased by three rigs to 183 rigs for the week, the same number as a year earlier.
