05/06/2019 Argaam

Compensations to those whose electrical appliances have been damaged as a result of electricity cuts in the Southern Region will only be paid through the judiciary, Sabq News reported, citing Saad Al Salamah, representative of the Electricity & Co-Generation Regulatory Authority.

There are serious damages that are identified and reported to the judicial authorities for consideration. Those affected by the fluctuation and interruption of electricity have claimed compensation for the damage caused to their equipment, food and medicines, Al Salamah added.

Some areas of the Kingdom’s Southern Region (Jazan, Asir and Najran) saw a sudden power outage due to bad weather.
