Saudi Arabia has a prominent role in promoting global digital economy policies, Saudi Gazette reported citing Abdullah Al-Swaha, Minister of Communications and Information Technology.
The minister was speaking to a gathering of G20 ministers in Osaka (Japan) on Saturday, the newspaper report added.
The G20 digital economy meeting was attended by G20 communications and IT ministers and experts in preparation for the G20 Summit to be hosted by Japan on June 28 and 29, Saudi Gazette report added.
“The meetings discussed many issues and policies related to digital economy,” Al-Swaha said.
