Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) signed an agreement with Seera Holding Group, formerly known as Al-Tayyar Group, to promote the emirate as a desired destination for Saudi travelers.
Through Seera’s Almosafer online platform, Saudis will get exclusive offers on Dubai flights and accommodation, DTCM said in a statement.
Almosafer will promote Dubai’s touristic attractions and activities, and will also provide travel advice across all its communication channels, the statement said.
“DTCM’s strategic partnership with Seera will help attract more visitors from the neighboring markers, with a special focus on business and family tourism,” it noted.
According to data compiled by Argaam, Saudi Arabia was ranked second among Dubai’s top ten visitor source markets in Q1 2019. The total of 550,000 Saudis visited Dubai in the first four months of this year.
A similar agreement was signed on July 25, 2018. Dubai Tourism had said that Almosafer registered 100,000 Saudi bookings to Dubai in 2018.
