Riyadh Authority approves setting up SAR 3 bln medical facilities

Riyadh Development Authority (RDA) has approved requests from several developers to set up hospitals and a medical city with a total value of SAR 3.1 billion.

 

The new facilities will have a combined capacity of 1,900 beds, RDA said in a statement on Thursday.

 

A new medical city will be built on King Abdul Aziz Road on a total area of 300,000 square meters. It will operate with a capacity of 1,200 beds.

 

Two other hospitals will be developed in Al Takhasussi and Hittin districts.

 

RDA also approved the set-up of a four-star hotel with a total capacity of 250 rooms.
