Saudi finance ministry has launched four new services on Etimad online platform, with an aim to facilitate financial transactions and procedures for government agencies, it said in a statement.
“The new services include covenants, advances and settlements, fund replenishment requests, consignments and exclusion from disbursement, and knowing the expense and payments status,” said Ahmed Al-Suwaiyan, the undersecretary for technology and development.
The service of variable currency contract claims was also improved, as well as the contract management and approvals service, the statement added.
“The new e-services will allow government agencies to effectively finish their financial procedures online, saving time and effort towards expedited results,” Al-Suwaiyan said.
He further noted that the ministry will continue to develop and update Etimad services as part of the Kingdom’s development scheme.
