Tihama narrows losses to SAR 14M in 9M 2024/25, SAR 7.6M in Q3

Tihama Advertising and Public Relations Co. reduced net losses to SAR 14 million (after minority interest) in the nine-month period ended Dec. 31, 2024, from SAR 31.9 million in the year-earlier period.

 

The nine-month losses (before minority interest) reached SAR 14.6 million, compared with SAR 32.3 million a year before.

Revenues increased by SAR 0.6 million year-on-year (YoY), mainly due to higher retail segment revenues by about SAR 3.2 million, paired with a rise in education segment revenues by SAR 1.2 million and a fall in the advertising segment's losses.

 

However, the retail segment's losses increased due to a rise in selling and marketing expenses including depreciation of asset rights and expenses related to new branches.

 

The production segment revenue dropped by about SAR 3.9 million due to a decrease in production projects compared to the previous period.

 

Q3 2024/2025 net loss fell by 45.6% to SAR 7.6 million, from SAR 14 million in the year before.

On a sequential basis, the company turned to a loss from earnings of SAR 0.78 million in Q2 2023/2024.

 

Total shareholders’ equity, after minority interest, stood at SAR 199.72 million as of Dec. 31, 2024, compared to SAR 233.35 million in the year-earlier period.

 

Accumulated losses reached SAR 173.97 million during the same period, accounting for 43.49% of the company’s capital.
