Aldawaa Medical Services Co. posted a net profit of SAR 305.4 million in 2022, a 28% increase from SAR 239.2 million a year earlier.

The profit jump was driven by a 6.7% year-on-year (YoY) leap in revenue to SAR 337.9 million, buoyed by higher cash, online and insurance sales. This is along with an uptick in sales from the Wasfaty e-prescribing program.

 

Gross profit climbed from SAR 1.89 billion in 2021 to SAR 2.01 billion in 2022, with a profit margin of 37.6%. Further, operating profit grew by SAR 101.1 million, or 37.7% YoY, to SAR 369 million last year.

 

The fourth-quarter net profit rose 30% YoY to SAR 89.51 million from SAR 69.08 million a year earlier.

 

Sequentially, net profit rose 85.9% from SAR 48.15 million in Q3 2022.
