L’Azurde For Jewelry Co. (L’Azurde) reported a net profit of SAR 31.54 million for fiscal year 2017, down 56 percent year-on-year (YoY) on lower operating revenue from its Egypt operations due to the Egyptian Pound’s floatation and lower gross profit.
The jewelry maker, however, posted a net profit of SAR 2.6 million in Q4 2017, versus a net loss of SAR 766,000 a year earlier, as operating revenue jumped 62 percent YoY on improved wholesale, as well as retail business portfolios, and a 15 percent drop in cost of revenue.
Q4 net profit rose more than five-fold quarter-on-quarter to SAR 502,000.
