Thob Al Aseel Co. posted a net profit after zakat and tax of SAR 64.54 million for the first half of 2019, a rise of 22.7 percent year-on-year (YoY) due to higher sales revenue and increased gross profit.

The second-quarter net profit after zakat and tax increased 25.8 percent YoY to SAR 48.34 million, backed by a 21 percent rise in sales.

 

The increase was also backed by higher demand for the company’s products as it expanded the client base and introduced new items.

 

When compared to previous quarter, net profit more than doubled driven by an 88 percent surge in sales on seasonality factors.
