Theeb Rent a Car Co. posted a 29% profit rise to SAR 182.7 million in 2024, compared to SAR 142.1 million in the year-earlier period.

The profit growth was primarily driven by a 14.73% year-on-year (YoY) rise in revenues. This growth was buoyed by a 41.6% YoY increase in long-term leasing revenues and a 15.6% annual growth in used car sales. The rise in revenues from both the long-term leasing and used car sales segments helped offset a 4.4% YoY decline in short-term leasing revenues.

 

Moreover, certain operating cost items improved, in addition to the overall 14.73% YoY increase in revenues.

 

The company reported a net profit of SAR 51.2 million in Q4 2024, up 44% from SAR 35.53 million in the year before.
