The profit rise was driven by higher sales from petrol and transport division, increased income from deposit and Sukuk, and higher share from joint venture (JV) investment.
There was an increase in the total comprehensive income year-on-year due to the re-evaluation of benefit obligations to employees.
This was offset by lower other income and higher marketing, selling, general, administrative and financing costs as well as Zakat expenses.
On a quarterly basis, net profit grew 6.9% from SAR 93.6 million in Q4 2024.
Total shareholders’ equity, no minority equity, reached SAR 1.43 billion by March 31, 2025, compared to SAR 1.29 billion a year earlier.
