The profit hike was attributed to a 9.56% year-on-year (YoY) rise in revenue driven by a 15% YoY increase in property sales following the launch of the Fai Sedra-1 project in 2024.
In addition, revenues from infrastructure projects grew by 9% YoY, thanks to the signing several new contracts in 2024 and higher completion rates for contracts signed in previous years.
Property leasing revenues saw a 13% YoY increase, buoyed by higher occupancy rates and a rise in average leasing price per square meter.
Moreover, AlAkaria reported a 42.64% YoY increase in operating profit, along with a 181% YoY surge in its share of profits from an associate and a joint venture. Zakat expenses for 2024 decreased by 39% YoY.
