Yanbu National Petrochemical Co.’s (Yansab) shareholders approved a 17.5% cash dividend for the second half of 2019, at SAR 1.75 per share, amounting to SAR 984.38 million, during the general assembly meeting held on March 15.
Shareholders have also elected members of the board of directors for the upcoming three-year term starting on March 16, 2020.
The new board includes Abdulrahman Abu Bakr (chairman and representative for SABIC), Majid Abdulelah Nur Al Din (vice chairman and representative for SABIC), Faisal M. Al Baher (representative for SABIC), Sameeh Al Sahafi (representative for SABIC), Ibrahim bin Mohamed Al Saif (independent member), Ahmad A. Al Meghames (independent member) and Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Rabiah (independent member).
In addition, shareholders delegated the company’s board of directors to distribute cash dividend for the fiscal year 2020 on a quarterly of semi-annual basis.
