Shareholders of National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri) approved on April 20 the board’s recommendation on distributing a 10% cash dividend, or SAR 1 per share, for H2 2019, the company said in a bourse statement on Tuesday.

The board of directors was authorized to distribute cash dividend on a quarterly or semiannual basis for 2020, and was discharged from liability for the previous fiscal year.
Shareholders also approved increasing the number of audit committee seats to four from three. Moreover, Yasser Al-Qadi (independent board director) was appointed as a member of the audit committee, starting from the general meeting date until Jan. 15, 2023.
