Saudi Advanced Industries Co.’s (SAIC) shareholders approved the board’s recommendation on paying cash dividend at 2.5%, or SAR 0.25 a share, totaling SAR 12.5 million for H2 2020, during the extraordinary general meeting (EGM) held on June 23, according to a bourse filing.

Shareholders refused to approve the board’s proposal to appoint Suha Bint Suwaid Al-Jahdali, as an independent board member.
They also rejected amending Articles of Association related to the company’s purposes, audit committee, as well as dividend payment.
Other agenda items were approved during the meeting, the statement added.
