Yanbu National Petrochemical Co.'s (Yansab) shareholders approved the board’s recommendation to distribute a 12.5% cash dividend, or SAR 1.25 per share, for the second half of 2022, during the ordinary general meeting (OGM) held on March 7, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.

Shareholders also elected board members for the upcoming three-year term ending on March 15, 2026.
The new board includes Abdul Rahman Shamsaddin, Samih Assahafi, Abdullah Al-Sinan and Abdullah Al-Arifi, as non-executive members; while Ibrahim Al-Saif, Awad Muhammad Salih Al-Maker, and Khaled Al-Rabia were elected as independent members.
Shareholders approved forming the audit committee, setting its tasks and remuneration for the new term.
Ibrahim Al-Saif, Abdullah Al-Sinan and Ahmed Al-Maghames were named as the audit committee members.
Shareholders also authorized the board of directors to distribute interim dividends quarterly or semi-annually for 2023.
