Al-Babtain shareholders OK 10% cash dividend for 2023

Al-Babtain Power and Telecommunication Co.’s shareholders agreed on the board of directors’ recommendation to distribute a cash dividend of SAR 1 per share, or 10% of capital, for 2023 at the ordinary general meeting (OGM) on May 30, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.

Additionally, shareholders approved authorizing the board of directors to distribute interim dividends on a semi-annual or quarterly basis for 2024, the statement added.

 

They also approved the election of the board of directors for the upcoming three-year term, from July 27, 2024 to July 26, 2027.

 

The new board members are AbdulAziz Al-Babtain, Sultan Al-Babtain, Ibrahim ABabtain, Khaled Mohammed Abdullah ABabtain, Khaled Mohammed Abdullah Abdulrahman ABabtain, Abdulkareem Al-Babtain, Abdullah Al Graish, Ibrahim Al Daghrer, and Essam Al Sagar.
