Shareholders of the Company for Cooperative Insurance (Tawuniya) approved the board’s recommendation to distribute a cash dividend at 10% of capital, or SAR 1 a share, for 2023, during the extraordinary general meeting (EGM) held on June 23, 2024, according to a statement to Tadawul.

Shareholders also approved the buyback of 147,440 shares maximum, to allocate to the employee share program. The share repurchase will be financed from the company’s cash balance, while the board will be authorized to finalize the share buyback within 12 months maximum from the general meeting date.
The repurchased shares will be retained for 10 years maximum from the general meeting date and the company will follow the applicable regulations in this regard after the expiry of this period.
