US drillers add 12 oil rigs in week ending Jan. 15: Baker Hughes

The number of active US rigs drilling for oil increased by 12 to reach 287 in the week ending Jan. 15, General Electric Co.’s Baker Hughes energy services firm said in its closely followed report on Friday.

 

Meanwhile, the natural gas rig count rose by one week-on-week (WoW) to 85.
