US rig count rises 7 units to 531 last week: Baker Hughes

The US drilling rig count rose seven units to 531 in the week ended March 25, General Electric Co.’s Baker Hughes energy services firm said in its closely followed report on Friday.

Meanwhile, the gas rig count kept flat at 137 in the week.
