US rig count rises 5 units to 557 last week: Baker Hughes

The US drilling rig count rose five units to 557 in the week ended May 6, General Electric Co.’s Baker Hughes energy services firm said in its closely followed report on Friday.

 

The gas rig count also rose two units to 146 in the week.
