US weekly rig count rises one unit

The US drilling rig count rose one unit to 501 in the week ended Jan. 5, General Electric Co.’s Baker Hughes energy services firm said in its closely followed report on Friday.

 

Meanwhile, the gas rig count declined two units to 118 in the week.
