US rig count rises first time in 10 weeks: Baker Hughes

The US drilling rig count increased five units to 482 in the week ended July 26, Baker Hughes energy services firm said in its closely followed report on Friday.

 

This is the first increase for US rig count since May 17.

 

Meanwhile, the gas rig count fell two units to 101 in the week.
