Baker Hughes says US oil rig count unchanged

The US drilling rig count remained unchanged at 482 in the week ended Aug. 2, after rising for the first time since May 17.

Meanwhile, thegas rig count fell to the lowest level in five weeks. The gas rigs decreased by three to 98, the lowest level since June 28 (97 rigs).
