US rig count rises for first time in 4 weeks: Baker Hughes

The US drilling rig count increased five units to 488 in the week ended Sept. 13, Baker Hughes energy services firm said in its closely followed report on Friday.

 

The rig count remained unchanged for three weeks at 483 units.

 

Similarly, the gas rig count also rosethree units to 97, snapping a three-week decline.
