US rig count hits 11-week low: Baker Hughes

The US drilling rig count fell five units to 479 in the week ended Oct. 4, Baker Hughes energy services firm said in its closely followed report on Friday.

 

This is the lowest level since July 19 (477 units).

 

Meanwhile, the gas rig count increased three units to 102 in the week, the highest since July 19 (103 units).
