US oil rig count rises, says Baker Hughes

The US drilling rig count increased by one unit to 483 in the week ended Dec. 20, Baker Hughes energy services firm said in its closely followed report on Friday.

  

Meanwhile, the gas rig count decreased by one to 102 in the week.
