Weekly oil, gas rig count in US decreases: Baker Hughes

The drilling and gas rig count in the US declined in the week ended Jan. 17, Baker Hughes energy services firm said in its closely followed report on Friday.

 

The oil rig count declined by two to 478 units week-on-week (WoW).

 

Similarly, the gas rig count also decreased by two to 98 in the same week.
