US rig count rises 7 units to 488: Baker Hughes

The US drilling rig count continued to rise for the fourth straight week, increasing seven units to 488 in the week ended Feb. 22, Baker Hughes energy services firm said in its closely followed report on Friday.

 

 Meanwhile, the gas rig count fell two units to 99 in the week
