Assets held by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA), the Kingdom’s central bank, grew by SAR 25.1 billion month-on-month (MoM) to SAR 1.836 trillion in August 2020, according to data released by the central bank.
When compared to the same month last year, SAMA’s assets dropped by SAR 104.7 billion.
SAMA’s investments in foreign securities, which account for 56% of its total assets, fell to around SAR 1.034 trillion in August.
