SAMA’s assets drop to SAR 1.826 trln in May

Assets held by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) decreased by SAR 5.6 billion month-on-month (MoM) to SAR 1.826 trillion in May 2021, according to data released by the central bank.

 

When compared to May 2020, SAMA’s assets grew by SAR 67.4 billion.

SAMA’s investments in foreign securities, which account for 61% of its total assets decreased to around SAR 1.119 trillion last May.
