SAMA’s assets fall to SAR 1.792 trln in February

Assets held by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) shrank by SAR 35.3 billion month-on-month (MoM) to SAR 1.792 trillion in February, according to data released by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).

 

When compared to February 2021, SAMA’s assets dropped by SAR 41.5 billion.

SAMA’s investments in foreign securities, which account for 62% of its total assets, decreased year-on-year (YoY) to around SAR 1.132 trillion last February.
