SAMA’s assets shrink to SAR 1.845 trln in April

Assets held by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) shrank by SAR 39.4 billion month-on-month (MoM) to SAR 1.845 trillion in April, according to data released by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).

 

When compared to April 2021, SAMA’s assets increased by SAR 13.6 billion.

SAMA’s investments in foreign securities, which account for 60% of its total assets, decreased year-on-year (YoY) to around SAR 1.114 trillion last April.
