SAMA’s assets drop SAR 29 bln to SAR 1.82 trln in April

Assets held by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) declined by SAR 28.9 billion month-on-month (MoM) to almost SAR 1.82 trillion in April.

 

When compared to April 2022, SAMA’s assets shrank by around SAR 22.8 billion, according to data released by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).

SAMA’s investments in foreign securities, which account for roughly 56% of its total assets, dropped above 9% year-on-year (YoY) to around SAR 1.01 trillion last month.
