SAMA’s assets grow SAR 60.7 bln to SAR 1.82 trln in September

Assets held by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) increased by SAR 60.7 billion month-on-month (MoM) to nearly SAR 1.82 trillion in September.

 

Compared to September 2022, SAMA’s assets fell by around SAR 168.4 billion, according to data released by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).

SAMA’s investments in foreign securities, which represent nearly 55% of its total assets, shrank by 11.5% year-on-year (YoY) to around SAR 997.9 billion last month.
